Investment Profile

We invest in early stage companies which are product/service ready (at least phase 1 development suitable for immediate revenue generation). The maximum collective investment is $500,000.

Management Team – We look for teams of high-quality entrepreneurs with a track record of leadership, team building, and performance in the industry or in prior entrepreneurial ventures.

Market Opportunity – We invest in innovative solutions that address major problems in major markets ($50 million plus). You must demonstrate your company is on track to claim 30% market share or more. 

Competitive Advantage – Your company must have proprietary features that differentiate you from potential competitors and/or provide barriers to entry that prevent other companies from capturing your customers (i.e., intellectual property, trade secrets, strong brands, human capital, etc.).

Growth Potential – We look for companies that can manage rapid revenue growth from multiple sources. We require well-conceived financial projections, based on reasonable assumptions, demonstrating future profits and free cash flow growth.

Fit – There must be a fit between your company and members of the Olympus Angels. Our group members, all accredited investors, have significant experience in a variety of fields. One of the synergies of working with our group is the active coaching and contact network the Olympus Angels can provide.

Exit Strategy – Our members typically seek returns of at least ten times their initial investment, within eight years. This level of return on investment is essential due to the high risk and likelihood of failure among early stage ventures. Thus, a clearly articulated exit strategy (i.e. IPO, acquisition, etc.) is essential.
